Name Game

The Name Game is a board game inspired by the weirdest town names in Britain. Players have to act, describe, draw and memorise the town names and if the other players guess correctly, they win the town on the board.

A social media marketing strategy was developed for the game, each post is centred around one of the weird towns featured and encouraged followers to interact with the content.

The contextual visual language is inspired by British roads. The patterns follow the design of British roads and also use speed limit signs to display numerical values. The typeface Transport was taken from British road signs and was manipulated through print to produce a brand new typographic outcome for the games visual identity.

A physical mock up was created of the game and the brand identity was effectively applied to all elements.
